Aranmore Catholic College's new Website is currently under construction. We look forward to showing you the site in the coming weeks.

Aranmore's proud history dates back to 1903 with the
foundation of a school, originally named Arranmore, on the present site
in Leederville, by the Sisters of Mercy. In 1942 the secondary girls’
school, St Mary’s, was joined by a boys’ school, CBC Leederville,
established by the Christian Brothers. These two schools combined in 1986
to form Aranmore as it is today.
Aranmore is now one of the most culturally diverse
schools in Western Australia. It is an inner city, co-educational Catholic
day school for Years Eight to Twelve, with a population of around 700
students coming from over 68 different cultures. The
College is a member of Australian Education International (AEI) and Perth
Education City (PEC), providing quality educational programs for overseas
students and has a specialist English as a Second Language Department.
Faithful to the charism of Catherine McAuley
and Edmund Rice, Aranmore seeks to develop the whole child with many specialist
academic, sporting and cultural programs including top level netball and
rugby. The College emphasises the pastoral care of each individual and
provides extensive scholarships for indigenous students and specialist
support for non-English speaking background students.
Aranmore runs specialist programmes in Rugby and Netball,
it has a vibrant performing arts community and a full complement of academic
and vocational courses as well as challenging leadership and outdoor education
opportunities.
