Catholic Performing Arts - It's Wrap!I would like to take this time to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our performing arts students showcased in the recent performing arts festival. It was wonderful to have so many students enter and represent the College this year after the cancellation of the events last year due to COVID-19. This year we had over 30 solo and duet performances, along with various ensembles. These included, Jazz Band, Choir, String, Flute, Saxophone and Brass ensembles and Drama club. We had a number of students who received outstanding certificates for their solo performances including Stirling Molloy, Charlee Hotker and Alessandra Tognini, along with a number of students who received Excellence awards including Chelsea Young, Thomas Gregory and Natalia Maina. Considering there is approximate eighteen thousand students who enter the festival each year, this is a huge achievement. - Miss Emma Longcake, HOLA (Arts & Technologies) |
