In 2018 there are a number of focus areas we would like students to pay particular attention to;

1.       The College uniform needs to be worn in full and appropriately. The policy can be found on the College website. Please pay particular attention to your child’s style of shoes (no flat soles or casual/street shoes) and haircuts (no lines, tracks or undercuts). Student are required to have a College school bag and arrive and leave school in full academic uniform. If students do not comply they may be sent home until the issue is rectified.

2.       Attendance & Punctuality is an important transferable skill that will serve our young people well once they move beyond these walls. Students must be at school for the beginning of form class and be punctual to all their classes.

3.       Academic focus and effort. In 2018 the College seeks to challenge all student to achieve their potential in their academic pursuits. It is an important for students to engage in classes and take the appropriate amount of time outside of school hours to complete homework and assignments as well as revise and prepare for upcoming assessments and examinations.

4.       Extra-Curricular

Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities offered at the College. Each students is encouraged to become involved on any activities on offer as these provide all students within opportunity to develop a range of life skills beyond the classroom setting.

The Form teachers are the first port of call with regards to communication involving your child and we encourage you to email them when the need arises. If you have any queries about any of these matters, please do not hesitate to contact them or either of us at the College.

We look forward to working with you and your child over the coming year.
