ACC Cross Country Carnival

On Thursday 31 May, the ACC Cross Country Carnival was held at Albury Reserve Perry Lakes which over 70 schools participated in. Thank you to all the students who attended the event, considering the heavy rain and windy conditions which made for a classic Cross Country event.

The fastest Aranmore Catholic College time belonged to Weldeghebreal Tekste who finished the 4km course in 00:13:16, finishing 19th in the Open Boy’s Category. Our best placed finisher on the day was Austin Anderson who finished 13th in the U/15 Category. Well done to all the students who competed and thank you to Mr Grace, Mrs Grace, Miss Adams and Miss Major who braved the wet and wild conditions to support our students on the day.

ACC Swimming Carnival

The ACC Swimming Carnival was held on Wednesday 14 March at HBF Challenge Stadium. This year the College competed in F division against eight other schools across Perth. After an early start in order to get the students into the correct bathers and to the stadium on time they settled quickly into their warm up. The day unfolded with an exceptional individual performance from a Daniel O’Loughlin and Harry Taverner who both won a number of events in their age categories.

Congratulations to our Year 10 Boy's Relay team who have won each year they have participated in the carnival together. We also thank all the parent's who came to the carnival and to our swimming training sessions. We look forward to your support in the years to come.
