Dear Parents
Sleep Hygiene is a term used to describe good sleep habits. Most teenagers need 8-10 hours of sleep each night, however many teens struggle to get the sleep they need. The flow on effect can be difficulty in getting to school on time; school refusal (I’m too tired to go to school today!); no time for breakfast/poor meal choices; lack of focus in the classroom; less energy for sports/exercise and poorer mental health. If your child is experiencing sleep problems, these tips for sleep hygiene may be useful. Read More.
