WELCOME TO ARANMORE

Aranmore Catholic College is a co-educational school for Years 7 - 12. We are located in Leederville, just off vibrant Oxford Street, a mere 3 kilometres from the Perth CBD. As soon as you walk onto our campus, you will quickly discern three special things about our school: we have a long and rich history, we have happy students and a high teacher to student ratio which allows us to get to know each and every child. My son came to Aranmore as a Year 9 student from the local (quite highly regarded) public high school. Having attended a smaller primary, moving to his original high school we had found that he struggled fitting in with the large number of students and was isolated and a target for bullying. Moving him from the public high school over to Aranmore was by far the best decision that we have ever made for both his education and his self esteem. We found the teaching staff amazing. Aranmore teaches respect and inclusion - attributes that your child will demonstrate long after memories of the subjects taken has faded. His friendship group was (and still is!) very close and everyone who knows him comments on what a confident, respectful and responsible young man he has become. He is now continuing his studies (through TAFE), working towards a goal of becoming a Police Office and working part time in a Customer Service role: neither of which would be possible without the support from the Aranmore community. I can not recommend them highly enough. Thank you!

Aranmore, the key to our future.

As an Aranmore alumna, I feel incredibly lucky to have spent such formative years of my life at the college. After beginning my secondary education elsewhere, coming to Aranmore was like a breath of fresh air. There was an overwhelming sense of support coming from all directions; teachers, administrators, students and support staff alike. From the beginning it was obvious that the individual is valued at Aranmore and not made to feel like a number. You definitely feel part of something bigger than yourself and are instantly opened up to a world of different cultures, perspectives and values which weave the rich tapestry that is Aranmore Catholic College.

If I had to describe my experience with the college in three words, they would be growth, understanding and passion. Aranmore and its teachers inspired me to become an active citizen in my immediate and wider community and instilled me with the motivation and determination to achieve my potential. I am now a primary school teacher in a remote Kimberley school and live in a community with some fellow Aranmore alumni - I teach some of their little brothers and sisters. It feels as though my Aranmore journey as come full circle, though I am sure I will send my children there someday!
