International Students

The Senior School ( Years 10, 11 and 12) recognises the special needs of students during their transition from compulsory to post-compulsory education. These students have needs which distinguish them from Middle School students.

The Senior School provides strong pastoral and vocational support. One of our primary goals is to assist students to identify their talents and gifts and support them to develop these to their potential. There is also recognition that this is a period of physical, social and emotional change for students. We encourage the students to develop independence, and support them in making good choices as young adults.

Year 10 introduces students to Senior School where they can sample courses available in Years 11 and 12 to demonstrate their ability and to make informed choices for the continuation of their senior studies into those years.

Year 11 and Year 12 students choose 5 or 6 subjects to study from a diverse list. After completing Years 11 and 12, our students enter university or technical and further education institutions (TAFE), or enter employment. Our success rate for university far exceeds the state average. Students are carefully counselled by our Careers Counsellor to choose courses that will maximise their future success and happiness.
