All players demonstrated fantastic sportsmanship and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, which could be seen by the smiles on their faces. Aranmore received many comments about how well our athletes played and how disciplined they were. A small group of Year 9 Netballers also got to help out. They coached and umpired their respective teams for the whole carnival, and did it very professionally. They had the opportunity to experience what the game was about from the non-playing side, and helped make the day run extremely smoothly. Everyone enjoyed a relaxing swim and a sausage sizzle at the end of the day. What a great way to end the netball year - well done to everybody! |

The Shrine is a replica of one in Germany and there are 180 around the world. The Sisters of Schoenstatt look after the Shrine and run the retreats. Sister Lisette showed her love for young people by telling stories and leading them in prayer. The students were able to visit the Shrine and learn about its origins as well as take part in many craft activities throughout the day, including making rosary beads and butterflies. |
