Students from overseas attending Aranmore need to arrange their own accommodation. Aranmore is located in suburban residential environment very close to the city of Perth and all transport lines. Students either stay in a 'homestay' situation or live with their family. Homestays are families who provide a room and meals for students and care for their everyday needs. Aranmore College does not provide living accommodation as this is usually organised with the ELICOS school the student is attending.
All students under 18 are required to have an adult who is over the age of 25 and a permanent Australian resident take responsibility for them. These carers are required to ensure the student's safety and be available to speak to staff at the College when requested. Parents or a nominated family member can also be the student's guardian or local carer. The Guardian duty statement and nomination form is available here.
