The Aranmore Music Department has a reputation for success.

Under the guidance of Mark Martino, the College achieved fantastic results in the 2005 Catholic Performing Arts Festival, with nearly 150 students participating in the Orchestra, Jazz Band, Rock Band, Singing, Percussion, Flute, Guitar and String Ensembles, Composition, Violin, Clarinet, Piano and solo Guitar.

Aranmore's Rock Bands were outstanding, and Aranmore was the only school to win six awards. The Year 12 Rock Band won the Knights of the Southern Cross Shield for the Best Rock Band in the Catholic Performing Arts.

Aranmore Catholic College offers a wide range of instruments from guitar, violin, cello, piano and percussion as well as modern facilities for aiding in composition and recording.

The Department supports the Aranmore Community through community masses, assemblies and open day as well as fundraising events. Music students are encouraged to become confident through performing in front of audiences.

Aranmore also offers Music Scholarships.
